Membership Information

Are you interested in joining the PTA?

You are warmly invited to join the Freedom PTA. Here you can download the Freedom PTA Membership Form (PDF). You may send the form, along with your dues payment, into school with your child or you may bring it to your child's Back to School Night. Yearly membership dues are $8.00 per individual member. Checks should be written to "Freedom PTA". After joining, you will receive a PTA membership card.

Freedom Elementary is fortunate to enjoy a strong PTA membership. It is this membership that allows Freedom to be recognized on a state and national level. Membership support also allows the PTA to contribute to the school in ways that truly make a difference in your child's education. Throughout the year the PTA raises funds that in turn support the requests of the school's staff, bring entertaining and educational programs to the school and their families, plus the purchasing of equipment and support of technological advances. (You may have noticed that Freedom is an older school, but through the energy of the school's administration, teachers and PTA, we're on the cutting edge of technology.) It is the PTA and staff at Freedom that makes this school so exceptional.
